Do you know the old saying: two brains are better than one? We are made aware of this every day, in our work, as our collaboration among REDOL partners is essential for delivering a great result. However, what if we went beyond that, and laid the ground for external cooperation, too?
We are happy to announce that we’ve just joined ECOSYSTEX, the European Community of Practice for a Sustainable Textile Ecosystem. This Community of Practice was launched in early 2023 and now counts on the work of 77 member projects, gathering more than 440 experts on textile circularity. To outline the terms of our cooperation, we organised a preliminary meeting where we explored all the different possibilities of working together, starting with cross-promotional activities and potentially further on organising joint activities. ECOSYSTEX is organising an annual high-level conference in the autumn time – this year, it will take place in Gothenburg (between 29 September and 1 October), and some of our colleagues will be joining the event.
We’re excited for what the future holds and we cannot wait to report more on this valuable synergy!
